Medical Council of India (MCI) has issued LOP for 27 PG (MD/MS) seats to Govt. Medical College, Haldwani.  First Batch of  PG (MD/MS) Course started from May, 2011 in various departments of the college.

Department of Surgery, Government Medical College, Haldwani organized a seminar on the topic "Pressure Sore : An Approach to Management" on  11, April 2012.

Department of T.B. & Respiratory Disease, Government Medical College Haldwani organized the Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP) State Level CME - 2012 on 31st March 2012.

Hospital Information System (HIS) Tender, which was supposed to be opened on 25 Nov. 2011 has been suspended.

LOP for 27 PG (MD/MS) seats has been granted to Govt. Medical College, Haldwani by the MCI & Government of India. In continuation to this First Batch of PG (MD/MS) courses has been started from May, 2011 in various departments of the College.
