The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Government of India vide Notification No U12012/77/2001 – ME – (P-II) dated February 18, 2010 has recognized the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS Degree granted by Kumaon University after May 2009 in respect of students trained at Medical College, Haldwani (Nainital), Uttarakhand.

a) Uttarakhand State Quota Seats (Through NEET UG Entrance Exam) = 85 Seats, Annual Tuition Fee Rs. 1,45,000 /-
b) All India Quota Seats (Through NEET UG Entrance Exam) = 15 Seats, Annual Tuition Fee Rs. 1,45,000 /-
Admission Process:
a) For Uttarakhand State Quota Seats, it is through NEET UG Medical Entrance Exam.
b) For All India Quota Seats, it is also through NEET UG Medical Entrance Exam.

Note:- PG (MD/ MS) Uttarakhand quota seats will be filled through Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination & All India Quota seats will be filled through All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination. Spouse, children or any family members are not permitted in the PG Hostels.
