Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Nursing
Course Overview

Duration : 4 years
Eligibility : The Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination that is higher secondary examination of the Indian school Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study .The last two years of study comprising Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject, must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

 

Entrance/Selection Test

 

Selection of candidate should be based on the merit of entrance examination.

 

Course Duration

 

B.Sc. Nursing course shall be four years.

 

Distribution of seats

 

Basic B.Sc. nursing – 50 seats

 

Medium of instruction

 

The medium of instruction shall be English only

 

Award of Degree

 

The Degree of B.Sc. nursing will be awarded to the graduate only after the candidate has—

 

  • Passed all examination
  • Satisfactorily completed the full period of training.
  • Satisfactorily work and conduct during the period of studies.

 

 

Academic Session

Vacation – the student shall be gives vacation of total 6 weeks vacation in an academic session. The vacation will be divided in 2 weeks winter and 4 weeks summer vacations as per institution academic calendar.
